As a former teacher, I understand the cognitive and executive skills necessary for optimal learning. Children today live in a high tech world that offers lots of learning opportunities, but doesn’t always allow for the personal connection that struggling students need. I provide relationship based support with a foundation of professional experience and evidence based practices in education. My experience with regular and special education students, familiarity with public and private districts, learning plans (IEPs and 504s), colleagues and connections in education and mental health, make my work with children and families comprehensive and effective in moving struggling students toward success.
